Enxoval / Baby goodies

Com a chegada de um novo priminho, tive oportunidade de por mãos numa colecção de tecidos linda: Alphabet Soup de Zoe Pern para Riley Blake designs. 

 Depois de muitas ideias, um pedido de opinião e várias horas a contemplar os tecidos, lá me decidi a fazer tudo aquilo que sei. 

Como gosto de experimentar coisas novas fiz a mantinha que já mostrei aqui e que contou muito com a vossa ajuda e fiz um clip de chupeta, inspirada pela minha querida MJL. 

O resultado final é lindo e acho que vamos ter o priminho mais bonito das redondezas!

The the arrival of a new little cousin (not born yet) I had the opportunity to put my hands on a very cute collection I have been craving for a while: Alphabet Soup by Zoe Pern for Riley Blake Designs. 

After a lot of ideas, some opinion request and hours staring at these adorable fabrics, I finally set my mind and decided to make everything I know and try some new stuff. 

This blanket was one of my experiences and I also did a pacifier clip, inspired by my dear MJL. 

The end result is gorgeous and I believe this new cousin is going to be the cutest kid on the block!

Lembram-se deste post, ora aqui fica o resultado final. As opiniões foram muitas, online e pessoalmente e no final este foi o resultado.
Todo o exterior desta mantinha foi feita com tecido 100% algodão, com algodão de patchwork no topo e uma flanela muito macia atrás. O interior é um cobertor de malha polar. Foi a minha primeira tentativa de "quiltar" alguma coisa e tenho a dizer que é bem mais difícil do que a partida parece. No entanto, o resultado é fantástico! O que acham?

Remember this post, well here is the final product. The opinions where many, online and personaly and in the end this was what happened. 
All the exterior fabric of this baby blaket is 100% cotton, with quilting cotton on top and a very soft and cozy flannel in the back. Inside I used some fleece. It was my very first attempt to kind-of-quilting something and I have to say it is much harder than it looks. However, the end result is amazing! What do you think?
